AVconex was started by John Paul with a simple belief... "I believe that I can connect people with technology".  That moto has a double meaning; 1. helping people understand technology and 2. helping people use technology to connect with each other.  John has been an Audio Visual service provider for over 20 years and his best days have been when he could produce that "Ah-Ha" moment in a client.  Weather it's "I didn't know you could do that" to "So that's how that works",  to " That little trick saved me a bunch of money", he strives to make your life better with service and expertise.  His five star hospitality background is the backbone of the philosophy that people need to be met "where-they're-at" when it comes to using technology.  An understanding of the end-users expertise is fundamental to offering solutions that make sense.

We believe that people need an advocate when treading the waters of tech.  

Weather it's advice on purchasing a new device or what to do with that old one, people need someone who will listen to their needs first and then find solutions that fit their budget.  People need a partner who isn't pressured to sell what's on their shelf that month.  A friend with a mutual interest in getting you what you need.

We believe the current avenue for solving tech problems is too expensive. 

You have pay someone $100 to $200 per hour just to talk to someone in the know about each topic; a computer guru for one thing, a home audio person for another, and a cable tech about another. You should be able to pay a small fee for a small job.  

We believe we don't know everything. 

Think of us as a family practitioner when it comes to technology.  Experts who can treat a cold or set a sprained finger, but when you have specific needs, we will refer you to  the right specialist.
